Session plan for interest level: PK-3 

Details

The session plan includes questions to ask after chapters 1, 4, and 5. After reading the book, the student will write about a time they have the Boo-Hoo Blahs, as well as what helped them stop the Boo-Hoo Blahs. The tutor can share their experience with Boo-Hoo Blahs as well. A two-column graphic organizer is provided, so the student can identify, and sort, positive and negative words. For an extension activity, review basic emotions using the provided Oasis Tutoring Social Emotional Worksheet packet.
