Discuss Little Red Riding Hood with your student. Ask your student if they know about Hannukah and how it is celebrated. Read the “Hannukah Story Cards” in the correct sequence. Ask your student to find the correct picture that matches each story card. (Correct card order is listed in the session plan.) Compare the story to the original version of “Little Red Riding Hood.” What is the difference? What is similar? Place the six “Latke Making Cards” in the correct order. If time allows, the student can make a “Hannukah Greeting Card” using the template provided.
