Tell the student that today’s story is about a girl who had lots of great ideas. Ask the student if they have ever had a great idea? Talk about the character’s great idea for a lemonade stand. After a picture walk, read the story. Talk about the use of descriptive action words (verbs) and find them in the story. Complete the Descriptive Verbs Sheet.
