Explain to the student that you’ll be reading a biography which is a non-fiction book that talks about someone’s life. Review the included vocabulary words or play a matching game with them. After reading, help the student complete the ‘Jane Goodall Writing’ sheet. If time allows, you can also have the student use the ‘Famous Women Writing Booklet’ to record facts about another amazing woman they know. You could also pair this with another non-fiction book or fact sheet on chimpanzees.
