Details

Use the Time Order Word cards when previewing the book. After reading the story, place the cards in order on a postersheet. Use the poster and the journal to write a paragraph abut the acorn’s life cycle comparing it to the oak tree. Find the vowels on the poster sheet and talk about the sounds they make. Retell the story to check comprehension.
