“Clues in the Attic” is a graphic novel which follows Ben, who is scared of the attic. Print and utilize the Onomatopoeia Sentence worksheet. Students can connect the two parts of the sentences using onomatopoeia words (whoosh, beeped, etc) from the story. A magazine hunt, or actual scavenger hunt, can be used as an additional activity.
