The tutor will start the session by dunking the included toy lizard in ice water, so the student can watch it change colors. Then, the student can take the seven-question quiz on page 30 to see how much they already know. Find the correct answers as you read through the story and allow the students to update their answers as needed. The student can then create their own “Quiz Whiz” and use it to check the knowledge of their family or friends. If time allows, the tutor and student can read through all the riddles interspersed through the book.
