In this session plan, work with your student to develop sequencing and comprehension skills. Cut the pictures related to the story ahead of time and ask the student to find them as the story is read. After reading mix the pictures and ask the student to put them back in order, you may refer to the story if needed. Write a sentence for each picture in the journal. Additional options for the session include a lesson on contractions.
