Ask your student if they have ever seen a prairie dog. Show your student the cover of the book. After reading the book together, ask your student a few questions such as – Do you think Big Bark was a bully? Do you think Big Bark was nice after the book ended? Brainstorm a list of clothing items that could be made for a prairie dog and then use The Great Fuzz Frenzy Prairie Dog Coloring Sheet to draw them. Use the Prairie Dog Fact Sheet as an additional activity if time allows.
