Details
In this session plan, students can explore over 500 sports facts such as ‘Why is there a shot clock in basketball?’ Students can read the book through in its entirety or browse for their specific interests. The tutor can then ask the student if they were surprised by any of the facts in the section read. The student can write a journal entry about the information learned. One other activity listed in the session plan includes writing the word ‘SPORT’ in the student’s journal and finding words in the book that start with each of those letters.
