This session plan focuses on discussion and writing that involve learning about friendship, how some are good, and some are not as good, the feelings involved, and “re-writing” parts of the story. The literary lesson is an acrostic poem about friendship, each letter of the word FRIEND is the beginning of each line to the poem.
