In this session plan, tutors can help their students recognize the different words that describe feelings, why Arthur feels the way he does, and help Arthur write a postcard home about his experiences and feelings while at camp. Create index cards with feeling words such as “happy”, “mad”, etc., to use to describe how Arthur may feel during situations written in the story.
