In the book, “Should I Share My Ice Cream,” Elephant must make a big decision. After reading the story, the tutor can help the student write in their journal about a time they had to share something with a friend and report as to how it made them feel. The student will have the opportunity to examine word connections using the “Text-to-Self Connections” worksheet.
