Ask your student what they like to do on summer vacation. Because this book repeats itself, your student might be able to help you read. Inquire as to whether this book reminds your student of the Christmas song, 12 Days of Christmas. If you’re interested, you can ‘sing’ the book together. Help your student create a ‘wish list’ of everything they’d like to do over the summer.
