Explain that the book looks like a fiction (make-believe) book, but it’s a real story written by Charlie’s twin sister. Peruse the back of the book to see the family photos. Ask your student if they know anything about autism. Record their answers in the journal. After reading the book together, add any new facts they learned to their journal.
