Help your student describe a “family reunion.” If you have a picture from a family reunion, you can bring it to share with your student. Read the book together, pausing to ask questions for comprehension. Ideas for questions are provided in the session plan. Your student can journal about a family reunion they have attended or plan one out. If time allows, the student can list their family members, including the name and relationship.
