Tutors complete 10–12 hours of training based on a proven six-part framework that includes talking, reading, and writing activities. You’ll learn strategies to draw out a child’s experiences and help them create simple stories that become the foundation for reading practice. You may also participate in monthly tutor meetings for ongoing training and for sharing successes and challenges with fellow tutors.
